Role PurposeAs a Product Line Manager for Corning Bendable Glass, you will support the development and execution of product line strategies that enable sales growth, customer adoption, profitability, and successful commercialization within the Corning Bendable Glass business. This role partners closely with commercial, technology, engineering, manufacturing, finance, quality, legal, supply chain, and account teams to help translate emerging bendable glass technologies into scalable product offerings for leading global customers.
The Product Line Manager will contribute to product line planning, value proposition development, pricing support, customer and market analysis, roadmap execution, and cross-functional coordination from product concept through commercialization and lifecycle management. The role requires strong business acumen, analytical capability, technical curiosity, and the ability to influence across functions and geographies in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and execution of the Corning Bendable Glass product line strategy, including product positioning, growth opportunities, competitive differentiation, and commercialization priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across development, product engineering, applications engineering, manufacturing, finance, quality, marketing, sales, legal, and supply chain to advance product line objectives.
- Monitor product line financial performance, including revenue, profitability, cost drivers, inventory considerations, and other P&L-related inputs, in partnership with finance and commercial leadership.
- Work with manufacturing and customer-facing teams to identify opportunities to reduce complexity, improve cost position, and support manufacturability at Corning and customer sites.
- Build subject matter expertise in Bendable Glass product attributes, specifications, customer applications, manufacturing capabilities, basis of competition, and product trajectory.
Experiences/Education - Required- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technical field, or related discipline required.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of business, product management, commercial, strategy, engineering, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
- Experience in product management, commercial execution, product development, advanced materials, glass, high-tech manufacturing, or Mobile Consumer Electronics preferred.
- Experience working with global customers, cross-regional teams, or international business environments preferred.
- Exposure to pricing, forecasting, business case development, customer negotiations, contracts, or supply agreements preferred.
This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $148,181.00 - $203,749.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
