Job Description

As a Product Director within GROW, you will lead a team of product managers responsible for employee facing products in the talent & performance space. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive the development and execution of innovative products that deliver exceptional value to our employees. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product life cycle, from ideation to launch, while fostering a culture of high performance, continuous innovation and collaboration.

Job responsibilities
  • Coach and mentor a team of product managers on best practices and product delivery.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, continuous innovation and collaboration, inspiring cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions.
  • Oversee the entire product life cycle, from planning and execution to future development, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and stability.
  • Drive the development of new products and methodologies, managing risks and achieving business targets related to cost, features, reusability, and reliability.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, gathering crucial feedback to ensure top-tier user experiences.
  • Develop and communicate a compelling product strategy and vision that aligns with business targets and customer needs.
  • Lead the creation and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Identify AI-driven opportunities, implement AI solutions in product development, and leverage AI insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Own product performance and invest in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
  • Build the framework and track key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, delivering products, or technology applications.
  • 3+ years of people management experience; proven ability to lead, motivate and inspire teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • A passion for understanding customer needs and translating them to product requirements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and techniques to drive product innovation, enhance efficiency, and boost productivity.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Advanced knowledge of SaaS (Software as a Service) products and experience working in or with Talent Development organizations.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) and Service Now is a plus.
