Quality Team Leader
Job DescriptionThe Quality Team Leader provides daily quality assurance leadership and representation to the Beech Island Quality and Operations teams. This position serves as the Quality Team Leader for the UCTAD/CTEC team and is responsible for providing leadership and technical support for Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Management System Compliance activities supporting consumer products.
This position reports to the Beech Island Site Quality Manager. The Quality Team Leader drives team objectives related to quality and ensures systems are in place to deliver quality results while meeting internal and regulatory standards. The incumbent plans and executes responsibilities with minimal direction, seeking assistance or guidance when appropriate. This role also provides technical coaching and guidance to team members and recommends technical strategies that support business objectives for the Quality team.
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategy, capability-building, and direct support to the facility in the areas of Quality and Regulatory Compliance.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, including the Kimberly-Clark Quality Management System (QMS) and FDA regulatory requirements.
- Identify, develop, and lead the implementation of products, processes, materials, systems, and procedures to achieve business objectives.
- Lead a team responsible for the visual and physical inspection, sampling, testing, and control of products and materials.
- Maintain and continue developing the nonconforming product and quality nonconformance reporting system.
- Manage the customer complaint process, including initiation of 4SPS investigations and corrective actions.
- Provide quality leadership and technical expertise regarding raw material and finished product issues and concerns.
- Oversee quality systems executed by the Quality department, including Management Review, Control of Documented Information, Supplier Quality Management, Complaint Investigation and Management, Internal Audits, Monitoring and Measurement, Analysis and Evaluation, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Support the development of others within areas of expertise while demonstrating an appreciation for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Foster an inclusive environment in which all team members are respected for their individual differences and motivated to enhance both individual and team performance to achieve business objectives.
- Execute continuous improvement initiatives for established processes and support the development and implementation of new processes.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 8+ years of broad experience in a Quality, Manufacturing, Research, or Regulatory function.
- Prior leadership experience managing teams, systems, and/or large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA Medical Device regulations, and FDA Cosmetic regulations.
- Experience with a combination of the following: CAPA/problem solving, change management, risk management/FMEA, and Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems independently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Salary Range: 105,740 – 130,620 USD At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
