What we need this person to do:
- Support and own small-to-medium product experiences from early exploration through implementation.
- Create clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Work closely with Product and Engineering in a highly technical domain
- Help simplify complex workflows involving maps, data, imagery, layers, and system outputs
- Contribute to design system consistency
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to support research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, and design production
- Produce clear, implementation-ready design outputs with minimal ambiguity
What we should look for:
- Strong UX fundamentals and interaction design skills
- Ability to structure complex information clearly
- Strong visual and product craft, especially in data-heavy interfaces
- Comfort collaborating with engineers and technical stakeholders
- Curiosity about geospatial, defense, intelligence, mapping, satellite imagery, or enterprise data platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain design rationale
- Bias toward learning, iteration, and feedback
- Nice-to-have experience:
- Enterprise SaaS, developer tools, data platforms, geospatial products, analytics tools, dashboards, or operational systems
- Map-based interfaces, data visualization, AI-assisted workflows, or complex B2B products
- Design systems or component-based product design
- Experience working in ambiguous or technical domains

Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
• The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $66,000.00 - $88,408.00 - $97,248.80 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
