Your role and responsibilities

Product Designer, IBM Corporation, Bellevue, WA (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):

  • Lead user experience for products, ensuring end-to-end design success for customers and users from discovery to implementation.
  • Partners with Product Manager to help implement strategies for GTM, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Lead agile design initiatives for products, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency and represent Design at agile ceremonies.
  • Utilize AI tool integration, optimize workflows and drive efficiency in design strategy.
  • Influence product strategy through storytelling, using data and research to drive decisions while identifying new opportunities to apply AI tools, reinventing workflows.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Drive business outcomes through product design, using data to inform decisions and measure success.
  • Track metrics such as customer retention, usage and revenue impact.
  • Lead prioritization of product-level design initiatives, coordinating across teams to ensure timely delivery of high impact work using agile practices.
  • Lead iteration and experimentation for products, using advanced testing methods and data analysis to refine designs.
  • Draft usability test plans.
  • Conduct and analyze user research to define problem statements and design solutions.
  • Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs.
  • Use data and A/B testing to validate design choices and iterate accordingly.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location.
