The Product Designer contributes to the overall success of Global Wealth Management's (GWM) Digital Experience Design Team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed & delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. They will ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

  • Design intuitive digital experiences by contributing to user journeys, interaction models, and visual solutions for wealth management products used by clients every day
  • Apply customer insights to design solutions by leveraging research, usability principles, and design best practices to inform your work and improve user outcomes
  • Enhance the quality of user experiences by identifying opportunities to simplify interactions and improve usability under the guidance of other team members through collaborative design reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and improvements by partnering with product, engineering, and research to support well-aligned, user-centered solutions
  • Contribute to and apply the design system by using established components and patterns, and supporting the evolution of scalable design solutions across platforms
  • Execute design work effectively across the product lifecycle by delivering high-quality artifacts and iterating on solutions based on feedback
  • Participate in collaborative design activities by contributing to workshops, design jams, and working sessions that help move ideas forward
  • Communicate design ideas clearly by creating visuals, prototypes, and specifications that support alignment and implementation with engineering partners
  • Adapt to changing priorities in an agile environment by balancing multiple tasks, incorporating feedback, and meeting delivery expectations
  • Support continuous improvement through iteration and feedback by learning from testing, team input, and product performance to refine designs over time
  • Apply accessibility and inclusive design principles by incorporating standards and best practices to create usable and equitable experiences for clients


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
  • 3-5 years of experience designing for responsive web and/or native mobile applications, with a focus on delivering usable, high-quality digital experiences
  • A portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work, including your role, problem-solving approach, and examples of how you moved from early concepts to refined solutions
  • Post-secondary education in interaction design, UX design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping, with the ability to create clear, effective design artifacts that support collaboration and delivery
  • Experience working with design systems, with the ability to apply established components and patterns while contributing improvements over time
  • The ability to communicate ideas visually and verbally, using sketches, flows, and prototypes to share concepts and align with team members
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, product managers, engineers, and other partners
  • Comfort working with guidance while growing independence, taking ownership of assigned work while incorporating feedback to improve outcomes
  • The ability to manage priorities and adapt to change, balancing multiple tasks and responding effectively to evolving requirements
  • A growth-oriented mindset, with openness to feedback, willingness to iterate, and a commitment to continuously improving your craft
  • Foundational understanding of human-centered design practices, including design thinking, usability principles, and exposure to research and testing methods
  • Working knowledge of front-end development fundamentals (e.g., HTML/CSS, responsive design) to inform practical and feasible design decisions
