The RoleThe deductions and chargebacks space is notoriously manual, fragmented, and painful for CPG suppliers to manage. Confido is building the software to automate the disputes process from end to end.
This role will serve as the connection between our customers, our product, and the market. That means building the internal processes and documentation that keep the team aligned, staying close to customers to understand what they need and ensuring they're getting value from the product, and keeping a pulse on the market to inform where we're headed.
The role blends operational rigor with commercial curiosity, with a direct line into what gets built. You will report directly to the Product Lead for Disputes.
What you'll do:- Build and maintain internal processes, documentation, and playbooks that keep
the disputes team and the broader organization aligned and operating efficiently
- Engage with customers regularly to understand their workflows and needs, and
synthesize those conversations into clear product opportunities
- Support customers in understanding and getting value out of the product, serving
as a knowledgeable point of contact for questions and feedback
- Bridge the gap between what customers are experiencing, how our product
functions, and ensuring roadmap decisions are grounded in real-world context
- Conduct ongoing research into industry trends, alternative solutions, and market
gaps to help shape product strategy and positioning
- Collaborate closely with the Product Lead to scope features, pressure-test ideas,
and move initiatives from concept to execution
What we're looking for:- 3+ years of experience in product, consulting, investment banking, investing or
domain-focused roles (e.g., deductions, accounts receivable, CPG finance)
- Analytical and structured thinking skills; able to break down complex processes
and articulate what automated solutioning should look like
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate operational knowledge
into written documentation and requirements to a wider audience
- Exposure to and/or experience building financial workflows, process
improvements, or working alongside a product or technical team is a plus
- Deep curiosity about our customers and an excitement to become a subject
matter expert in CPG and retail
- Thrives in ambiguity with a bias toward execution; comfortable driving work
forward without a lot of hand-holding
- Willingness to work at our NYC Headquarters 5 days a week
