Product Architect – AI & Digital Products

The Job:

As aProduct Architect 6 AI & Digital Products, youll be part of our Digital Productteam working as aremoteemployee. We're building a new generation of AI-powered digital products that combine modern software engineering, Generative AI, intelligent automation, and connected customer experiences to create lasting value across our global brands.

We're looking for a Product Architect to help define what's next.

This is not a traditional architecture role.

You won't spend your time maintaining legacy systems or reviewing infrastructure diagrams. Instead, you'll identify emerging technologies, rapidly validating new ideas, architect innovative product capabilities, and partner with Platform Architecture and Engineering teams to bring those ideas into production.

You'll help answer one fundamental question:

"How can emerging technologies create meaningful business value and better customer experiences?"

What You'll Do

As our Principal Product Architect, you'll serve as the bridge between Product Strategy, AI Innovation, and Enterprise Engineering. You'll be responsible for discovering new possibilities, proving technical feasibility, and designing scalable architectures that accelerate digital innovation across our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify emerging AI technologies that can transform digital customer experiences and create meaningful business value.
  • Translate business opportunities into innovative, scalable technical solutions across digital products and connected customer experiences.
  • Build rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate new product ideas and technical feasibility.
  • Evaluate commercial platforms, open-source technologies, and AI services to determine the best solution for each use case.
  • Design modern AI-enabled applications using Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, semantic search, vector databases, and intelligent automation.
  • Architect AI agents and multi-agent workflows that automate customer and business processes.
  • Design secure integrations across AI services, enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and digital products.
  • Develop reference architectures and reusable digital capabilities that engineering teams can scale into production.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Platform Architects, and Engineering teams to shape roadmaps and deliver secure, production-ready solutions.
  • Establish engineering standards and best practices for AI applications, APIs, governance, observability, and responsible AI development.

Qualifications

  • 5 7+ years of experience designing enterprise software, digital products, or cloud-native applications.
  • A strong software engineering background with Python and experience building production-grade applications.
  • Experience building applications using Large Language Models and modern AI engineering patterns.
  • Experience designing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • A strong understanding of modern software architecture and cloud-native development practices.
  • Experience with AI technologies such as RAG, semantic search, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
  • Experience evaluating, benchmarking, and optimizing Large Language Models and designing guardrails, orchestration, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • A passion for emerging technologies, continuous learning, and building innovative digital products that improve customer experiences.

The Salary range for this position is $110,600.00 - $178,000.00
  • This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
