Full Job Description
As a member of ADI's Advanced Consumer Power team, you will contribute to the development of power management solutions for portable consumer device, including Smartphones, Wireless headsets, AR/VR devices, and Gaming consoles. Partnering with a world-class engineering team, you will support the product life cycle from concept to mass production for our IC portfolio, including DC/DC conversion, PMICs, and discrete charging. Key Responsibilities: • System Design: Execute schematic and layout design for evaluation boards. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product definers, IC design, and business management to support product evaluation and optimization. • Validation & Optimization: Perform bench characterization, performance optimization, and contribute to the development of automation testing environments. • Technical Documentation: Author high-quality application notes, user guides, and datasheets. • Customer Support: Provide advanced technical support, and training to key customers and field applications teams. • Collaboration: Participate in technical reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure project success. • Business Development: Assist Business Unit and Field team in identifying and securing new business opportunities. Minimum Requirements: • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. • Experience: 0-4 years of professional experience in analog/power electronics • Application Knowledge: Solid Electrical Engineering fundementals, active and passive components. Knowledge in DC/DC power conversion, switching regulators and battery chargers is preferred. • Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise with lab equipment. Familiar with how to setup and test circuits on the bench. Proficient in Python. • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Job Req Type: Graduate Job Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $100,266 to $137,892. • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors. • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
