Job Summary:

As part of the newly created DACS Division, the Senior Product Adoption Consultant (PAC) – Cat AI Assistant serves as the subject matter expert for Cat® AI Assistant and leads its go-to-market, adoption, and value realization across Caterpillar’s digital ecosystem in the region.


This is a highly customer-facing and dealer-facing consultative role requiring strong business acumen and the ability to translate AI capabilities into practical solutions that improve productivity, decision-making, and digital engagement. The role also acts as an AI champion within the ADSD DACS team, driving internal AI adoption and capability development.


What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Cat AI Assistant capabilities, use cases, product roadmap, and business applications across Cat Digital Ecosystem.
  • Lead go-to-market and adoption strategies for Cat AI Assistant across the ADSD region.
  • Partner with DACS teams, dealers, and customers to identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases and adoption opportunities.
  • Design and deliver demonstrations, onboarding, enablement, training, and change management programs that accelerate adoption and business value realization.
  • Drive internal AI adoption within DACS through education, coaching, and best-practice sharing.
  • Gather customer and dealer feedback, monitor adoption metrics and business outcomes, and communicate field insights to influence product enhancements and future capabilities.
  • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional stakeholders to align on product capabilities, launches, and adoption priorities.
  • Develop scalable playbooks, best practices, success stories, and communication materials to support regional deployment and capability building.

  • Builds trusted relationships with customers, dealers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborates effectively across teams to achieve shared objectives and drive business outcomes.

  • Connects AI capabilities to measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Articulates and demonstrates the business value of Cat AI Assistant through customer-specific use cases and outcomes.

Technical Excellence:

  • Knowledge of AI technologies and digital application methodologies and the ability to develop solutions to business challenges.
  • Continuously develops knowledge of AI technologies and industry trends.
  • Advises stakeholders on AI adoption and change management strategies, implementation approaches, and best practices.
  • Applies analytical and problem-solving skills to address adoption challenges and improve user experiences.
  • Acts as an AI thought leader within ADSD DACS by promoting innovation and identifying opportunities to improve internal productivity and customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrates hands-on AI capability by designing, configuring, and experimenting with AI agents and workflows to solve business problems and improve productivity.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking:

  • Knowledge of decision-making processes and analytical methodologies and the ability to evaluate information and recommend practical solutions.

Considerations For Top Candidates:

  • Experience understanding business partner and customer processes, operational and digital challenges and the ability to identify solutions through AI to improve efficiency, performance and user experience
  • Experience analyzing end-to-end workflows to identify pain points and drive simplification through AI innovation and scalable solutions

Additional Information:

  • This position is required to be based in one of the following locations that include Chicago, IL Peoria, IL or Dallas, TX
  • Required Travel: Up to 40% (Domestic)

 

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
