Full Job Description
Business Development Partner

Location: Dallas, TX

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Field-Based)

Travel: Moderate travel required

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on acquiring new enterprise clients.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting, and industry events.
  • Build relationships with executive stakeholders, including CEOs, CIOs, CISOs, Chief Risk Officers, and other senior leaders.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand business challenges and recommend customized consulting solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and guide opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Partner with internal consulting teams to develop tailored client solutions and ensure seamless project handoffs.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and other business development activities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends related to cybersecurity, governance, enterprise risk, AI, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of successful B2B business development or enterprise sales experience.
  • At least 5 years selling consulting, advisory, or professional services.
  • Proven ability to generate net-new business and develop executive-level relationships.
  • Demonstrated success closing complex, high-value enterprise engagements.
  • Strong consultative sales approach with exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing opportunities within a CRM platform such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Preferred
  • Experience selling cybersecurity, risk management, governance, compliance, AI advisory, or other consulting services.
  • Understanding of enterprise security, governance, compliance, or risk management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with current cybersecurity and AI trends.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.

Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 + uncapped commission
