Role Description:

A detail-oriented and analytical Product Analyst to work as part of the North American and European Product Management team. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing product requirements for the Clinisys Laboratory Solution (CLS), documenting detailed features, benchmarking existing product designs and workflows, and identifying non-functional requirements. This role will serve as a product and laboratory discipline or LIS domain subject matter expert for various stakeholders, prioritizing and driving work through the engineering teams, to help ensure we deliver successful releases on time and on budget, that align with the product and business strategy and goals. Additionally, the Product Analyst will also perform regulatory analysis and compliance tracking and support sales and new bid initiatives. Specific focus areas for this role are all divisions of Environmental, Toxicology, and Public Health for all relevant markets globally.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with SMEs, stakeholders, and customers to gather, analyze, and validate requirements aligned to business and user needs.
  • Define and document features, use cases, and functional specs; clarify and approve user stories.
  • Use generative and agentic AI to streamline product definition (feature creation, backlog grooming, stakeholder updates, workflow optimization).
  • Apply responsible AI practices (privacy, security, human review, traceability) and mitigate risks (bias, hallucinations, IP).
  • Evaluate and standardize AI tools and workflows using defined success metrics.
  • Benchmark product capabilities against competitors and industry standards.
  • Manage non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security).
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in partnership with QARA.
  • Act as domain SME across engineering, UX, and product teams.
  • Support sales and bid efforts (RFPs/tenders) with scope and strategy input.
  • Own backlog prioritization, balancing dependencies, risk, and value delivery.
  • Support release planning and roadmap development.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and minimize scope creep.
  • Represent Voice of Customer through client engagement and validation.
  • Lead cross-functional sprint teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Coordinate third-party partners and system integrators.
  • Prepare and present SDLC artifacts, metrics, demos, and training.
  • Support market research and product strategy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Expertise in Environmental, Toxicology, and/or Public Health Labs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with product management and SDLC processes.
  • Proficiency using AI tools for product work (user stories, backlog management, insights synthesis).
  • Ability to design prompts, refine outputs, and apply quality checks to AI-assisted work.
  • Understanding of AI limitations and when to use traditional methods.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI (privacy, security, bias, auditability) in healthcare.
  • Ability to translate data (telemetry, VOC, trends) into prioritized actions.
  • Commercial mindset with ability to communicate value and innovation.
  • Strong collaboration and delegation skills; ability to manage timelines and dependencies.
  • Resourceful, with a strong SME network to support rapid decision-making.

Required Experience & Education:
  • At least 3 years' experience of working as a Lab Technician / Analyst / Technical Manager or equivalent in Environmental, Toxicology, or Public Health laboratories
  • A degree related to the scientific laboratory setting is essential.
  • Certified Scrum Alliance Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent is highly desirable
  • Experience of using Clinisys Laboratory Information Management Systems products is preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Hybrid work (minimum 3 days per week in office).
  • Work performed in a normal office setting.
  • Up to 10% domestic travel may be expected.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • International travel may be required
  • Moderate lifting/carrying 15-44 lbs.; walking/standing 2-6 hours

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is generally within the range of $90,000 - $120,000 for annual base salary. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
