IT Pricing and Rebates Business Analyst. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What you'll do:

Job Summary:
The IT Pricing & Rebates Business Analyst serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT function, leveraging business analysis tools and techniques used to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Stakeholders include but are not limited to, pricing teams, rebate claims teams, sales teams, divisions, finance, and external customers. The primary application focus for this role is Vistex, and will at times extend to other applications, price management software, processes, and data sources.

The Pricing & Rebates Business Analyst is responsible for business analysis planning; requirements elicitation; requirements management and communication; requirements analysis and validation for medium and large projects; estimation of BA work and meeting estimates; testing scenarios and script development; and guiding customers through user acceptance testing. All of this work is expected to be performed in alignment with the Eaton PROLaunch project management process standards.

Job Responsibilities:
A. Business Analysis Planning: Assist in planning the business analysis approach, deliverables, and planning estimates for medium projects (runners, minor and major repeaters).
B. Requirements Elicitation: Conduct requirements gathering activities (brainstorming, focus groups, interviews, observation, prototyping, workshops), with guidance as needed, and document the results requirements for small or runner projects.
C. Requirements Management & Communication: Assist in ensuring that requirements meet the business objectives and solution design; and ensure requirements are communicated and presented in a format that are understandable to stakeholders, including solutions designers and developers.
D. Requirements Analysis: Assist in analyzing, prioritizing and organizing requirements to ensure efforts focus on the most critical needs, and model requirements to demonstrate process and/or solution function.
E. Governance: Ensure that all projects adhere to applicable governance processes for review and approval. Have clear understanding of governance requirements and timelines and work within those boundaries to ensure on-time delivery.
F. Validation: Coordinate the approach and development of use cases and test scenarios with the customer to ensure user acceptance testing is complete and validates that project requirements have been achieved.
G. Documentation & Communication: As applicable, create training materials and SOWs for newly created or updated system functionality and share with appropriate business stakeholders. Ensure that such materials are stored and organized centrally for future reference and use.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum three (3) years IT or relevant work experience
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Arden, NC will be considered.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
• Understands pricing & rebate concepts, terminology, processes, and metrics.
• Experienced in Vistex fundamentals, including: agreement lifecycle, agreement types, SAP navigations, customer hierarchies, product hierarchies, rebate claims process, rebate accrual concepts, integration landscape, pricing and claim outputs (files, notifications, confirmations, EDI, etc.), ECC/S4 architecture differences awareness, Vistex data model knowledge, et cetera.
• Comfortable with JIRA, Excel, Power BI, data validation, root cause investigation, et cetera

Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This position will often work with other business analysts, project managers and business teams on a regular basis.
• Good team-oriented interpersonal skills. Assists with facilitation sessions, may require some coaching on how to lead and influence others, and to effectively interface and work with a wide variety of people.
• Good team player, self-motivated and committed with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
