Position: Procurement IT Sourcing Manager

Location: NYC or NJ

Hybrid: 3 days a week in office

Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000 + Bonus

We are seeking a versatile and strategic IT Sourcing Manager to serve as a technology generalist across all IT categories-including Enterprise Software, SaaS, Cloud, AI Solutions, and IT Professional Services.

In this role, you will act as the primary strategic liaison between business units and the procurement organization, embedding yourself with business stakeholders to deeply understand their operational needs, strategic roadmaps, and technical requirements. You will translate these business priorities into overarching sourcing strategies and drive tactical execution, contract renewals, and transactional workflows through our central Center of Excellence (CoE) and offshore execution teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Unit Intake & Request Processing
  • Request Management: Serve as the primary contact for business unit stakeholders submitting technology procurement requests and statements of work (SOWs).
  • Stakeholder Support: Help business teams navigate internal procurement policies, budget thresholds, and approval workflows.
Technology Sourcing
  • Deal Execution: Manage transactional sourcing engagements across all technology categories, including Software/SaaS,, and IT Professional Services.
  • Commercial Redlining: Lead transactional negotiations for contract extensions, purchase orders, MSAs, and SOWs, focusing on standard terms, pricing structure, and performance metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Routing: Coordinate with Legal, Data Privacy, and Cyber Security teams to resolve standard contract exceptions and enforce compliance with enterprise risk standards.
Center of Excellence (CoE) Workflow Coordination
  • Renewal & Flow Management: Hand off and track standard renewals, and routine requisitions through the central CoE and offshore support teams (e.g., India).
  • Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate contract records, supplier data, and savings logs within the central procurement system.
Supplier Negotiation & Cost Savings
  • Competitive Bidding: Administer RFQs and competitive bids for standard technology buys to drive price competition and optimize acquisition costs.
  • Renewal Optimization: Review expiring contracts ahead of deadline to evaluate vendor utilization, prevent auto-renewals, and negotiate favorable commercial adjustments

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 4-7 years of direct hands-on IT sourcing, vendor coordination, or procurement experience within a corporate environment.
  • Generalist Exposure: Practical familiarity contracting across a broad mix of tech categories (Software/SaaS, Hardware, Telecom, and IT Professional Services).
  • CoE / Shared Services Coordination: Demonstrated experience utilizing central procurement tools, shared service centers, or offshore teams (e.g., UK, India) to route and execute transactional work.
  • Contractual Acumen: Baseline ability to review and redline commercial terms, fixed-fee and T&M SOWs, and standard licensing agreements.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Clear written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset toward business partners and internal teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000 + Bonus
