Overview

Who we're looking for

Toyota's Indirect Procurement Department is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Procurement Sourcing Senior Analyst to support the Human Resources category.

This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of category procurement strategies across Talent Mobility, including the management of relocation services for Toyota; Healthcare Services, including the management of clinics, pharmacies, and therapy services for Toyota; and Talent Development, including the management of corporate training for Toyota. Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services Procurement, this position supports the Indirect Procurement Department's objective of implementing procurement strategies that reduce costs and mitigate business risk for the business.

The Procurement Sourcing Senior Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, from Analyst through Senior Manager levels, on day-to-day operations including the requisition-to-PO process, development of scope for statements of work, supplier additions, and related activities. This role will also collaborate closely with Legal throughout contract negotiations. In addition, the selected candidate will provide strategic updates on major contract negotiations and sourcing initiatives to General Managers and Vice Presidents within TMNA Human Resources.

What you'll be doing
  • Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories, with a focus on responsible and sustainable value creation.
  • Effectively design and manage all sourcing activities including RFPs and RFQs.
  • Lead the development, negotiation, and governance of contractual documents, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and related commercial agreements to support business-critical Procurement outcomes.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with business stakeholders and supplier partners to drive enterprise-wide process improvement and sourcing outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and suppliers on Procurement policies, governance requirements, and sourcing best practices.
  • Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies, and lead negotiations of fees, rates, subsidies, and other commercial terms across assigned commodities.
  • Manage the requisition-to-PO process for assigned commodities to ensure timely and accurate procurement execution.


What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of Toyota procurement or equivalent experience and/or 5+ years of non-Toyota procurement experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexities and successfully set priorities for meeting time-bound deliverables
  • Demonstrated strategic activities
  • Exceptional analytic, organization, presentation and interpersonal skills with applied solid judgement and strategic thinking
  • Demonstrated collaboration, communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation experience
  • Strong knowledge of contract process
