ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Retail Procurement Manager is a strategic procurement leader responsible for developing and executing global category strategies that support Skechers' business objectives across multiple regions and business functions. This role oversees indirect procurement Global Retail Categories, including Store Construction, Store Maintenance, Visual Merchandising, and Collateral, and encompassing all associated subcategories within each assigned package. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated person with extensive experience executing procurement and supplier strategies within global organizations.
The role leads complex sourcing initiatives, supplier relationship management, commercial negotiations, contract lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable value through cost optimization, operational excellence, risk mitigation, supplier performance, and continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with global business priorities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop and execute global category strategies across Global Retail assigned portfolios including Store Construction, Store Maintenance, Visual Merchandising, and Collateral.
  • Lead global sourcing initiatives from strategy through implementation and supplier governance.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements including MSAs, SLAs, pricing structures, consulting agreements, and other contracts.
  • Partner with Finance, Global Retail teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage strategic supplier performance through KPIs, business reviews, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze spending, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership to identify value opportunities.
  • Deliver measurable cost savings, supplier consolidation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • 7+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in real estate procurement, construction project management, or facilities maintenance, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
  • Strong financial, analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence platforms, with demonstrated experience analyzing large datasets, developing dashboards, identifying trends, and translating data into actionable business insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Experience leading global sourcing strategies and complex supplier negotiations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in the retail industry is helpful, but not required.

The pay range for this role is $125,000-$165,000/yr USD.
