Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal SW ConfigurationAnalyst to join our team located onsite in Melbourne, Florida.

Duties include:
  • Change board administrator and facilitator-review, scribe, manage, report, and hold multiple meetings weekly with software teams in the appropriate allotted time period and deliver meeting minutes and notes at the conclusion of each meeting.
  • Review several different software documentations, ensuring CM processes are implemented.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining several projects within Jira.
  • Organize, review, and authorize the release of new and revised documents specified by Program or Engineering Management.
  • Building and creating an Artifactory to process and manage all software licenses for the program including costs and renewals more efficiently.
  • Library custodian for all physical media that is acquired by the department for the program.

This position is contingent on obtainment of DoD Secret Security Clearance and Special Access Program clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience in DoW configuration and/or data management or Master's degree with 3 years of professional work experience in DoW configuration and/or data management.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) prior to start.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to start.
  • Understanding of configuration management principles / best practices to include management of contract and supplier data.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
  • Previous experience working on a large proposal effort.
  • Excellent organizational skills to include the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.


Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
