The Principal IT Program Manager - Data Platforms and Insights oversees the modernization of the enterprise data infrastructure and business intelligence ecosystem. This position addresses the challenges of platform fragmentation and processing inefficiencies by integrating advanced AI capabilities to automate workflows and optimize data pipelines. Managing these initiatives ensures seamless, secure, and virtualized data access across the organization for analysts and decision-makers. Success requires driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver a stable, scalable, and innovation-driven data platform.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

• Deliver modernized, virtualized data platforms that support high-quality analytics across business units
• Embed AI capabilities into data infrastructure to automate workflows and optimize processing efficiency
• Lead cross-functional teams using agile methodologies to ensure iterative, continuous delivery of data services
• Establish data governance frameworks, metadata tracking, and data lineage protocols to maintain production stability
• Track team progress and key performance indicators to align project outcomes with department-level objectives

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):

• Critical experience leading complex data platform transformations and business intelligence initiatives
• Deep expertise in modern cloud data warehouse technologies; specifically Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS cloud services
• Strong AI literacy, including the ability to identify opportunities for embedding machine learning and automation into data management processes
• Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive large-scale initiatives in fast-paced environments
• Advanced knowledge of data governance, data virtualization, metadata management, and quality control systems

Additional Qualifications:

• Familiarity with AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, and Lake Formation, as well as Databricks Delta
• Experience managing project budgets and tracking team expenses

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 10 years of experience in IT program management, specifically focusing on data platforms and business intelligence
• Must have at least 5 years of experience with:
• Jira project management tools
• Agile project management methodologies

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
