The Role: Principal, Public Affairs

We're looking for a self starter who is looking to take the next step in their career. Someone with a foundational background in public affairs and client management. Someone who wants to solve big problems and deliver smart, strategic counsel
to clients who play in high-stakes arenas. As Principal of Public Affairs, you will play a critical role in supporting client relationships, ensuring they get the expertise, strategy, and execution needed to drive impactful campaigns.

What You'll Do:
  • Client Management:
    • Collaborate with senior and executive leadership to develop and execute winning campaign strategies.
    • Support the teams working on New Jersey-based clients, ensuring their priorities and goals are met and exceeded.
    • Build relationships that last. Clients should see you as a key contributor to their overall success.
    • Prioritize crisis and proactive communications, managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.


  • Business Growth & Thought Leadership
    • Spot opportunities by monitoring and analyzing industry trends.
    • Identify ways to expand client engagements and upsell contracts.
    • Actively develop proposals, presentations and reports to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.


Leadership & Execution
    • Mentor and develop
      junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability.
    • Refine and optimize internal workflows-because efficiency drives impact.
    • Set the bar high. Elevate the firm's standards for execution, innovation, and results.

What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in client management, public affairs, communications, government, or a related field.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills
