Job DescriptionPrincipal Clinical Informatics Specialist RN - HybridThe Principal Clinical Informaticist RN combines advanced clinical nursing skills with technical knowledge to create systems that can greatly improve the quality of patient outcomes. The Principal Clinical Informaticist RN supports high-quality patient care through efficient management of data and Information Technology. The Principal Clinical Informaticist RN uses data to analyze trends, monitor for any themes, and implement new, more efficient workflows, processes and policies. The Principal Clinical Informaticist RN serves as an informatics subject matter expert to bridge between clinical staff and technical advancement, ensuring the tools and technology will be user-friendly and practical for the caregiver.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Upon hire: Registered Nurse License. License in states wherever care is delivered
- 8 years in a position that includes clinical experience and the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in informatics, Education, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a clinical discipline such as Nursing, or healthcare field.
- Upon hire: Informatics certifications or credentialing (may be equivalent for up to 2 years of experience for this position at the hiring manger's discretion)

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
