Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of industry experience in digital media sales, digital advertising, or digital marketing, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Experience with brand advertising like YouTube or a similar participant video platform.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with Google Ad Solutions, such as YouTube, Search, Programmatic or Shopping and understanding of participant landscape across traditional and digital media advertising.
  • Experience with brand or media measurement.
  • Ability to sell/propose creative technologies across a landscape of various decision makers.
  • Ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments, influence/collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.

As an Account Executive, Retail, you will use your deep understanding of our client's business, broad knowledge of advertising, and your industry vertical to identify and enable longer-term opportunities to drive growth. You will orchestrate joint business plans, account-level strategy, annual activation plans by developing strong customer relationships. You are responsible for identifying untapped revenue streams, sizing complex opportunities, and delivering high-impact pitches. As a master of cross-functional influence, you will unite teams with objectives to deliver seamless OneGoogle solutions that drive measurable customer growth.
