Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience implementing strategic and large scale initiatives projects in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.
  • Practical experience building AI-driven solutions, including a high proficiency in leveraging internal AI tools and "vibe coding" (e.g., Jetski) to automate manual tasks.

The gTech Strategy and Operations (gSO) team empowers gTech to do amazing things to land the present and build for the future by acting as strategic partners and trusted advisors. We create value through deep functional and business expertise combined with analytical excellence to formulate and deliver strategies.

In this role, you will act as a strategic partner and internal consultant for gTech Users and Products (gUP). Taking the traditional strategy role a step further, you will act as both a strategist and a builder. You will lead the charge in finding and implementing AI-driven solutions to reduce administrative overhead across business reporting and other processes, partnering with gUP teams to streamline executive reporting frameworks and create more efficient processes. You will not only define the problem statements for reporting bottlenecks but also develop scrappy, AI-driven solutions to address the organization's top operational pain points.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a workstream to reduce reporting overheard, owning the strategy and program management to streamline executive cadences and reporting frameworks across gUP.
  • Define problem statements for reporting bottlenecks, and scale process improvements across the organization as business needs evolve. Identify creative ways to address time spent on administrative tasks by implementing better AI-driven methods and tools.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and gUP leaders to standardize processes and forums, drive the adoption of new automated tools, and strategically challenge existing reporting cadences.
  • Serve as both a strategist and a builder by partnering directly with business teams to evaluate automation opportunities and build AI point solutions (e.g., using AI tools and "vibe-coding").
  • Develop scrappy solutions where possible to address top pain points, and construct compelling business cases to advocate for resources when addressing more complex, high-impact automation opportunities.
