In this position...

The Fulfillment Operations Analyst is crucial in overseeing North American supplier manufacturing from a supply chain and logistics perspective. This position demands strategic thinking, effective leadership, and the capability to manage multiple issues simultaneously across various plants and suppliers.

In this role you will be expected to proactively spot risk in the horizon (using Ascent and/or Behind Schedule signals) and work to mitigate that risk in order to hold Ford production schedules. The objective is to have zero production disruptions nor need to remix production due to supply issues. The Analyst is expected to drive to root cause, problem solve the issue or issues, and work with Ford teams and suppliers to support our schedules. You will also need to be able to demonstrate visually that risk, address what ICA and PCA actions will be put in place to mitigate the issue and when. Use of data and analytics with modernization workstreams will also be part of the job requirements.

Responsibilities

As a Fulfillment Operations Analyst you will have the immediate task of working with the Ascent and Pega tools in conjunction with CMMS (and the new upcoming MMP system based on SAP).
• Leverage your sense of urgency and responsiveness to plant needs to protect the daily and weekly schedules throughout the Clear to Commit (CTC) horizon. Goal is to support existing operating plans and schedules without needing remix or incurring production losses.
• Act as change agent needing to find efficiencies in current state operations to allow the new tools to expand our horizon for evaluating supply risks.
• Empower your continuous improvement mindset to drive to root cause, problem solve the issues preventing suppliers from support Ford schedules, seek and mitigate premium costs and related costs due to disruption to schedules.
• Provide communication and dimension of risk as needed to escalate to leadership as well as report on the issues with solutions and / or need for assistance.
• Work cross-functionally with other internal teams including Purchasing, Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Supplier Operations Team (SOT), Product Development, and plants.
• Manage critical suppliers and the accountability to Ford supplier expectations to Global Terms and Conditions.

Qualifications

You'll have...
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or supply chain organization
  • Knowledge of or experience in Ford with production planning and execution
  • A proven track record in supply chain operations (inbound flows / Packaging / outbound flows / demand & supply planning / in-plant logistic operations / warehouse management)
  • Well-versed with MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), AI agents, Data Analytics
  • Bias for action in identifying and working to solve issues identified in the clear to build horizon.

  • Strong data analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources to identify root causes, trends & insights and recommend operational improvements on Supplier Delivery Performance
  • Strong storytelling capabilities to enable and show data driven decision making benefit the organization
  • Strong knowledge of Ford MP&L systems like CMMS, Super G, GCP, MCPV, Ascent, Pega etc
  • Knowledge of Alteryx or similar data analysis tools desired
  • Knowledge of SAP

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
