  • Salary Range: $118,169.00 - $141,323.00 per year

Ripple Effect is looking for a Power Platform Developer to support our client, the Defense Health Network - Pacific Rim (DHN-PR) of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions including data visualizations, automations, and applications. We're looking for individuals who can perform advanced Microsoft Power Platform development and system-design work with broad autonomy, reviewing technical deliverables, advising on execution methods, and ensuring quality and compliance. Responsibilities:

Technical Execution: Designs new Power Platform systems and enhances existing ones (e.g. Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps) based on requirements and project plans, while reviewing technical work for quality and responsiveness and recommending preferred execution methods within project scope.

Communication: Leads technical discussions in team meetings, prepares and reviews formal communications (such as technical memos and status reports), and mentors others on effective communication practices.

Schedule and Timelines: Tracks and reports on project progress, ensures timely delivery of development tasks, and supports internal and client-facing schedule updates to meet all deadlines.

Quality Management: Reviews code and technical deliverables for accuracy and completeness, identifies bugs or other quality issues, and suggests improvements to ensure all software outputs meet Ripple Effect's quality standards and client requirements.

Business Relations: Engages professionally with clients and stakeholders by delivering high-quality technical work, presenting software findings or demos, serving as a point of contact for assigned deliverables, and recognizing opportunities for additional enhancements or follow-on projects that align with client needs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School Degree
  • 9+ years of relevant experience, additional education substitutes for experience.

Basic Requirements
  • Intermediate experience developing business solutions using Microsoft Power Automate and PowerApps
  • Intermediate experience importing, cleaning, and transforming complex data from multiple sources in Power Query, with ability to identify and resolve data integrity issues
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Teams and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience documenting requirements and presenting results to clients by communicating technical information effectively after analyzing complex data and identifying improvements to workflows and solutions.
  • Intermediate Experience developing and carrying out quality control processes
  • Ability to work independently, mentor team members, and support coordination of tasks, consulting supervisors as needed.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity software and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • U.S. Citizenship required
