Position Description:JTEC Consulting is hiring Journeyman Analysts who blend Air Force Financial Management (AF FM) operational knowledge with Microsoft Power Platform skills. In this role you will travel to deploy Command-Specific Dashboards across 84 Active-Duty DAF Installations and train ANG personnel across 4 NGB Centers. Rather than just delivering software, you will directly empower Comptroller Squadrons to make faster, data-driven financial decisions using Power BI and Power Apps.
Duties and responsibilities:- Deploy and Train: Travel to active-duty bases and NGB centers to roll out Command Dashboards, delivering hands-on Power BI/Power Apps training to Comptroller personnel and Resource Advisors.
- Tailor Solutions: Make targeted, marginal modifications to existing Command Dashboards to align with unique base-level operational needs.
- Bridge Tech and Finance: Translate complex financial data into visual analytics, briefing base leadership on rollout status and key metrics.
- Drive Adoption: Provide ongoing remote support, webinars, and coaching to ensure long-term sustainment and user adoption.
Qualifications required include:- U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
- Current Secret clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- AF FM Expertise: 3+ years in AF Financial Management, Funds Control, DFAS operations, or direct DEAMS experience
- Analytics Toolkit: Practical experience building or navigating Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and advanced Excel features
- Communication: Strong briefing skills with the confidence to advise base leadership and financial managers
- Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel ~33% of the time
Preferred Experience:- Familiarity with legacy and current AF FM systems (CRIS, GAFS, DTS, IAPS) is highly valued.
