Full Job Description
THE ROLE

As a Power Integrity Engineer on our Hardware Development Team, you will architect and deliver robust power delivery networks (PDN) that power Everpure's next-generation enterprise storage solutions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional hardware engineering teams and external Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) partners, you will optimize system power distribution, voltage regulation, and thermal performance across complex PCBA architectures. In this high-impact position, your designs directly establish platform reliability and energy efficiency, driving industry-leading performance for enterprise customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Architect & Implement Power Networks: Lead end-to-end power delivery network (PDN) architecture and high-efficiency voltage regulator (VR) design for x86 CPUs and high-performance networking ASICs to ensure maximum platform stability and energy efficiency across enterprise storage systems.
  • Simulate & Optimize System Performance: Conduct advanced PI/PDN simulations to analyze target impedance, reduce voltage ripple, and optimize transient response across motherboard and system architectures.
  • Qualify Components & Embed Quality by Design: Select and qualify critical power components-including controllers, MOSFETs, inductors, and capacitors-establishing design standards and processes that institutionalize long-term hardware reliability.
  • Diagnose & Harden Hardware Systems: Partner with Operations, Support teams, and external JDM partners to execute root-cause failure analysis on complex technical issues, delivering systemic solutions that harden platform resilience against field escalations.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Expertise in power integrity engineering, high-efficiency voltage regulator circuit design, and Power Delivery Network (PDN) optimization for enterprise-scale hardware systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using industry-standard simulation tools (such as Ansys SI-wave, HyperLynx PI, or equivalent software environments) to evaluate and solve complex signal/power integrity challenges.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to conduct root-cause failure analysis on system-level hardware and translate findings into design improvements.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills to align cross-functional engineering teams, operations, and external manufacturing partners around technical goals.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
