We are seeking an associate with 2-5 years of post-law school experience. Boston, New York and Washington, DC are the preferred office locations.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an associate with 2-5 years of post-law school experience. Boston, New York and Washington, DC are the preferred office locations. Responsibilities include:
  • Invalidity analysis of patents and prior art
  • Draft IPR/PGR petitions and legal and technical arguments/briefing
  • Work with experts and prepare expert testimony
  • Conduct and defend expert depositions
  • Oral advocacy before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board

Qualifications
  • Graduated with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study is preferred but not required
  • Admitted to or eligible for admission in Massachusetts, New York or Washington, DC.
  • Admission to practice before the USPTO is preferred, but not required
  • Patent litigation experience before the PTAB and/or experience before the USPTO
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

The expected salary range for this position is $225,000 - $310,000 annually. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for an annual hours-based bonus.
