Full Job Description
The Problems You\'ll Solve: - The Policy Analyst will support the Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) on special projects and strategic planning related to tech innovation, digital service delivery, and improved tech operations. - Develop and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders in the tech and innovation space. - Monitor best practices, latest trends, and make policy recommendations on high-profile tech sector issues (artificial intelligence, app-delivery, drone-usage, etc.). - Write, edit, and coordinate reviews of briefings, memos, and presentations to communicate complex policy and programmatic topics to a wide range of audiences. - Participate in internal and external meetings with or on behalf of the Deputy Mayor to ensure appropriate follow-up. - Support inter-agency coordination and collaboration to ensure project and program delivery. - Provide program and project management support, especially on sensitive, logistically complex, and high-visibility initiatives. - Develop and facilitate systems and processes for City Hall coordination. - Coordinate across Deputy Mayor teams. About You: - You have business operations, process design, and project management experience. - You can operate independently with excellent time management skills and confirmed ability to deliver on multiple, competing priorities in a dynamic environment. - You can effectively interact with people and partners across all levels within an organization. - You have proven ability to follow through on complex projects from ideas to implementation. - You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and compelling presentations for an array of audiences. Minimum Required Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s Degree required. - 5+ years of experience working in technology, AI, data management, and innovation policy and programming.
