DescriptionABOUT THIS ROLE The Technical Solutions Manager sits within our Xe Platform team, delivering Embedded and API solutions under our licensed, managed platform. Xe powers integrated solutions to deliver seamless, cross-border payments directly within the user journey.
Xe seeks a Technical Solutions professional with a strong understanding of API integrations, ERP solutions, and pre-sales solutioning experience.
As the Technical Solutions Manager within the Xe Platform team, you will be the go-to resource throughout the onboarding lifecycle. You will support Sales with pre-sales demos and solutioning including understanding requirements and feature specifications. As the technical lead within a business-focused team, you will represent the business and translate Client requests and requirements, working closely as the critical bridge between Sales, Product, and Technology teams.
This role is not behind-the-scenes and requires excellent customer-facing presence and cross-functional collaboration skills to connect with Prospects, Partners, Clients and the wider Xe organization. You will be a key component of the Platform go-to-market lifecycle from discovery to solution design through implementation and launch.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Technical Solutions Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing technical ERP and API integrations from supporting Sales in pitches to launch including: scoping integration requirements with prospective clients, conducting product demos, supporting testing, and owning timelines and work streams to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within scope.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES- Become the trusted technical advisor to Prospects, Clients and Partners for Xe's Platform solutions
- Develop a deep understanding of integrated solutions to guide Prospects and Partners to the solution of best fit for their business and technology needs
- Deliver demos that highlight key features and benefits, customizing the demo and delivery to speak to the specific prospect needs
- Document and analyze feedback, pain points and new feature requests for the Product team to inform and drive the roadmap for continuous product improvement
- Manage timelines, project risks, and issues
- Develop detailed integration plans and schedules
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to Clients, Prospects and Partners
- Own the end-to-end technical onboarding of new Clients through to go-live
- Identify and manage integration dependencies and critical path activities
- Assist in communicating technical documentation and resources to support client onboardingCollaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, compliance, and engineering teams Faciliate team and cross-functional meetings to manage priorities and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Stay up to date on embedded finance and international payments market trends including competitor solutions
QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, integration management, or technical project management, preferably in embedded finance, fintech or payments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools with strong attention to detail to track initiatives, projects, and deliverables
- Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g. Microsoft Business Central, Sage) is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication skills are required; ability to commuicate complex technical information to various parties including non-technical members of the organization and client counterparts
- Experienced in explaining the use of and consuming APIs using RESTful architecture
- Comfortable collaborating with product team on custom flows (eg. experience with Figma or similar); to design solutions that meet custom requirements
- Knowledgeable in integrations between different systems and platforms using various APIs and technologies
- Collaborative work style with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, unifying approach across internal teams
- Self-starter that aims for continuous improvement
- Champion for the Prospect, Client or Partner internally and develop strong relationships with key internal colleagues to ensure a proactive approach to external counterpart needs
- Bachelor's degree required
