NYC - Hybrid

About the Role

Do you want to build something that directly shapes how engineers work every day? Do you thrive at the intersection of backend engineering, infrastructure, and reliability? If so, we'd love to talk.

You'll work alongside the Platform Lead to design and build a developer platform that meaningfully improves developer experience and productivity. This role is genuinely varied, you'll have ownership across software development, security, observability, migrations, and more. No two weeks look the same.

The stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Datadog, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Postgres, and MongoDB. You don't need to know all of it - a strong engineering foundation and the drive to upskill matter far more.

Who Should Apply
  • Engineers who want to add tools and technologies to their skillset. This team invests in great engineers and is happy to support growth in new languages and platforms.
  • Engineers who want real ownership. This is a small, high-trust team, you'll have meaningful impact across multiple areas from day one.
  • A software engineer who has grown into a Platform or DevOps role, or a software engineer with solid DevOps exposure ready to make that move.
  • Someone with 4-8 years of experience. This is a mid-level position with senior-level exposure.

Interview process:

1) Technical round focused on DevOps and infrastructure tooling

2) Practical programming challenge

3) On-site: code review, system design, and culture

What's on offer:
  • Up to $210k base and stock options
  • Health, Dental & Vision coverage
  • 401k plan
  • Unlimited PTO and paid parental leave
  • Hybrid working (Monday - Thursday in the NYC office)
