5-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations management
Proven track record of optimizing production processes
Strong understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)

Full Job Description
The role will include, but is not limited to, the following functions:
Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.
Focus on increasing production, capacity, and flexibility, while minimizing costs, adhering to established quality standards, and consistently meeting shipping requirements.
Meet financial objectives and goals by forecasting requirements and supporting the annual budget process.
Drive continuous improvement projects through out all plant functional groups.
Responsible for assuring customer satisfaction through lead time, on-time delivery, and product quality.
Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Foster and promote a positive, safe, and healthy work environment for all employees.
Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary.
Direct oversight of plant-based department/functional managers, including but not limited to production, quality, materials, and human resources.
Work with company directors to roll out and create buy in of company-wide initiatives.
Responsible for determining facility staffing levels, approving expenditures, preparing and filing internal and external reports.
Serves as primary customer contact at the plant level.
