The Mill Manager directs and coordinates activities of the Mill (Pellets, Bemis, Flake & Mesh) of Industrial, Food grade and Pharmaceutical grade salt by performing the tasks listed below either personally or through hourly bargaining unit employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Ensures environmental, health, and safety (EHS), and General Management Practices (GMP) performance and compliance
- Accountable for the Mill Operations
- Establishes and ensures achievement of all unit key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manages area budget/cost, volume, and quality.
- Manages department project capital budget.
- Manages equipment and process reliability.
- Performs other related duties, as required.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related technical degree is strongly preferred or ten (10) plus years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years' salt manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years' supervisor experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficient in SAP-preferred
