Full Job Description
Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) group, B-Line division is seeking a Plant Finance Manager to support the site. This position will be based at our Reno, NV site - relocation assistance is available to Reno. Minimal travel is expected (~10%).

The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year.

Our Reno site is a vital part of Eaton's growth in GEIS. The site consists of around 250 people and is moving toward a full three shifts. The site has recently been identified for future capital investments and new automation/robotic tools. This Plant Finance leader will be a key part of the Plant Manager's team and will be responsible for driving results across the operation.

What you'll do:

The Plant Finance Manager provides financial leadership to the Reno, NV facility, serving as a business partner and as a change agent to drive plant continuous improvement actions and to achieve overall plant targets. This role connects finance processes with operations, providing guidance, driving actions, and financial insights to ensure operational strategies and decisions will lead to the expected results.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Drive accountability for results and defining key performance metrics together with business leaders.
• Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.
• Driving initiatives (including CAPEX and Cost Savings) and influence changes: ensure productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality and supply chain management.
• Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans.
• Financial Modeling: Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.
• Cost Management: Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality.
• Inventory Management: Partner with the site to implement Inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability.
• Talent Management: Help build organizational capability within the Plant staff to strengthen their financial acumen.
• Forecasting: Lead the main operations focused financial processes for the periodic site forecasts and profit plan.
• Cost Accounting: Analyze and interpret financial data related to the costs incurred with the primary objective of providing valuable insights to management, enabling them to make informed decisions. Support accuracy of BOMs and Routings. Prepare annual standard cost roll for the site. Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of the standard costs.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (5) years experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Minimum of two (3) years experience supporting a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in finance or accounting/business from an accredited institution.
• Experience with SAP helpful.

Skills:
• Experience as a finance business partner within a complex, matrixed organization
• Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals.
• Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills.
• Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter.
• Deep understanding of cost accounting vital in this role.
