What You Can Expect- Performs comprehensive assessments on patients and obtains information about their physical condition
- Makes tentative diagnosis and decisions about management and treatment of patients and confirms with supervising physician
- Develops and implements treatment plans
- Collaborates with physicians and other nurse practitioners
Minimum Requirements- Successful completion of Physician Assistant certificate program from an accredited college or university
- Bachelor's Degree
- Certification obtained by passing the Physician Assistant national certifying examination, administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
