The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized rehabilitation plans and improve patient outcomes. Duties and Responsibilities:- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with physical disabilities, injuries, and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Conduct thorough preoperative and postoperative assessments of patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and pain management specialists.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation medicine
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in pain management, musculoskeletal medicine, or rehabilitation.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Active and unrestricted California MD/DO license.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with workers' compensation cases
- Enrolled as a Medicare FFS provider
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
