Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities- Design and optimize manufacturing processes for testing electro-optical components and assemblies.
- Perform testing of production parts using lasers as required.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Assemble and test opto-mechanical and electro-optic prototypes.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Provide technical support to production and NPI teams as needed.
- Manage production schedules and ensure on-time daily shipments when required.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or a master's degree or higher.
Skills- Experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly with optical systems and components.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with lasers, optical components, and related test equipment.
