Conducts practice of pharmacy in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations and hospital policy and procedures. Participates in ongoing evaluations to ensure quality patient care. Works well within a team environment; accepts and offers honest and constructive feedback; supports team goals and encourages other team members; and collaborates with patient care team members to consolidate work, solves problems, creates new methods to reduce costs if necessary. Shows flexibility/adaptability in meeting environmental constrains and demands placed on services as is common with changing reimbursement and managed care targets.
Formal Education Required:-Bachelor s Degree or PharmD in pharmacy
-Current Licensure in State of Ohio
Minimum Work Experience:-Working knowledge of pharmacy law
-Dexterity to operate a computer terminal, calculator, and other office equipment; to manipulate fine instruments; and prepare pharmaceutical entities in minute proportions
Required Skills and Knowledge:-Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with pharmacists, nurses, technical physicians, and other healthcare personnel
-Must maintain confidentiality of patient and department records
-Ability to self-direct to execute responsibilities within a team structure
-Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
$60.00/hr - $72.00/hr
