Job Description

BJC/Saint Luke's Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support our primary care clinics in
Independence and Blue Springs, Missouri. In this role, you will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, delivering comprehensive medication management and contributing your expertise to Saint Luke's Population Health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Clinical Management: Design, monitor, and adjust patient-specific therapeutic regimens to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside physicians and clinic staff to clarify orders and document interventions in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Medication Oversight: Prepare, dispense, and verify prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and regulatory compliance.
  • Patient Education: Provide routine counseling on drug information, side effects, and adherence to patients and caregivers.
  • Professional Leadership: Supervise supportive personnel, manage departmental projects, and lead system-wide health initiatives.


Required Qualifications & Schedule:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Licensure:
  • Licensed Pharmacist (KS) - Kansas Board of Pharmacy
  • Licensed Pharmacist (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Medication Therapy Services (MTS) Certification - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
