Reporting directly to the Director of Surgical Services, you will be the ultimate guardian of our Epic OpTime data integrity and surgical charging. This isn't just a data-entry job-you are the functional designer, trainer, and systems expert who ensures our perioperative applications run flawlessly, our supplies are accurately tracked, and our revenue cycle is airtight.

What You'll Do
  • Guard Data & Revenue Integrity: Own the accuracy of all OpTime data and surgical charging across our perioperative areas, ensuring no detail is missed.
  • Champion System Optimization: Lead the functional design, seamless implementation, and daily support for our cutting-edge perioperative software applications.
  • Empower the Team: Act as the go-to expert by training staff on system updates, workflows, and best practices.
  • Optimize Supplies & Preference Cards: Conduct continuous reviews and maintenance of surgical preference cards and supply chains to keep operations lean and accurate.
  • Drive Data-Backed Decisions: Compile, analyze, and deliver critical statistics and management reports that shape the future of our surgical services.
  • Solve Tech Challenges: Dive into major system projects and provide high-quality, rapid troubleshooting for any system issues that arise.


What You Bring to the Table
  • The Epic Expert: Deep familiarity with healthcare informatics, specifically strong expertise in Epic OpTime or similar perioperative EHR modules.

Annual Salary Range: $76,835.20 - $113,339.20

Qualifications

Education:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing.

Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in the perioperative areas and preferred two (2) years of experience with an EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
  • Prefer supply chain management knowledge or experience.

Certification/Licensure:
  • Must possess a current, valid Arizona or other compact state RN license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of an integrated clinical system.
  • Must have highly developed interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge typically gained through work in perioperative services as a registered nurse or related education and experience required.
  • Must possess good organizational skills and be able to prioritize several projects with minimal supervision.
  • Effective human relations and communication skills are required in interfacing with nursing staff and medical staff.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision in difficult situations, setting priorities and maintaining highly confidential information.
  • The ability to utilize word processing and spreadsheets is required.
  • Must have experience with troubleshooting computer applications and providing user support and education.
  • Mathematical ability to maintain accurate statistical records and gather data is required.
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
