Job description:
This is the senior performance seat for North America and the deputy to the practice leader. You will carry client conversations on performance engineering, shape and scope of engagements, and take primary responsibility for building the offerings and IP that the practice sells. Digital experience and UX performance are adjacent territory you should be able to hold credibly: Core Web Vitals, RUM, perceived performance, and the handoff into accessibility work.
What you'll do
Offering and IP creation: Offering narratives, taxonomies, accelerators, maturity models and capability materials built from scratch
Client advisory: Performance strategy, architecture review, engagement oversight, escalation
Pipeline and solutioning: Presales, RFPs, scoping and estimating, expansion within named accounts
Delivery Ownership: Direction, Review, Escalation support, people management
Requirements
• Senior depth in performance engineering: workload modelling, test strategy, bottleneck analysis, and tuning across application, database and infrastructure layers
• Proven consulting experience scoping, estimating and defending engagements in front of client leadership
• A track record of creating, not only delivering: an offering, accelerator, framework, methodology or capability asset you personally authored. Be ready to show it
• Credible working knowledge of digital experience and UX performance: Core Web Vitals, RUM, front-end performance, and how it connects to accessibility
• Experience operating in an onshore and offshore delivery model
• Strong written and oral communication.
Strong plus
• Cloud cost and performance optimization, or FinOps collaboration
• Accessibility standards familiarity (WCAG)
• Performance work on packaged enterprise platforms.
