The Opportunity:
The Performance Testing Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of performance and automated testing activities across the program. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate testing activities within a complex environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of automated and performance testing strategies.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize performance testing frameworks and automation suites.
  • Develop, author, and maintain detailed test plans, test scripts, and test documentation.
  • Oversee execution of performance tests, analyze results, and provide clear, actionable reporting on testing outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, DevOps, operations, and product owners, to ensure test coverage and resolve issues.
  • Provide guidance and direction to Performance Testers and other QA resources.
  • Ensure adherence to performance KPIs and quality standards.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree), U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Strong QA automation experience, including Selenium, automated test framework design and maintenance, and performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, k6, or similar.
  • Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with experience developing test plans, test cases, test reports, and identifying performance bottlenecks in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, mentor junior QA staff, and effectively communicate technical findings.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desired:

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis and unit testing.
  • Experience with Momentum ERP or other ERP systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale financial and/or government systems is highly desirable.
