The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Network Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership for enterprise network engineering and operational support services supporting the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. This position will oversee network modernization, cloud connectivity, firewall management, operational network services, and enterprise infrastructure engineering activities.
The successful candidate will serve as the senior technical authority for network architecture, engineering, performance, security, and operational resilience.
Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise network engineering and modernization team of approximately 15 engineers.
Oversee WAN, LAN, VPN, cloud networking, and firewall infrastructure.
Direct network operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning activities.
Support RMF, cybersecurity compliance, and continuous monitoring initiatives.
Lead network architecture reviews and technology refresh planning.
Provide technical guidance to engineering and operations teams.
Support regional field technology operations and training facility environments.
Develop and maintain network standards, policies, and engineering documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
12+ years of network engineering experience.
Experience supporting large federal enterprise environments.
Deep expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware NSX, VPN technologies, routing and switching, and cloud networking.
Experience supporting NIST, RMF, and federal cybersecurity requirements.
Active Top Secret clearance; SCI eligible.
Desired:
CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent certification.
Prior experience supporting the Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security and/or Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT) is highly desirable.
Experience supporting both classified and unclassified networks.
Cloud networking experience in Azure and AWS GovCloud environments.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$120,800 - $265,800
