Full Job Description
StubHub is looking for a People Operations Partner to join our People team, reporting to the Head of People Operations. As part of the operational backbone of the People function, you'll own key employee lifecycle operations, improve and scale how we operate, drive cross-functional execution, and help deliver a seamless experience for all employees.

StubHub is a global marketplace built around live events, and our People team has to operate with the same level of speed, clarity, and discipline that the business requires. As we continue to scale, we need someone who can help make our People Operations function cleaner, faster, more consistent, and easier for employees and managers to navigate.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting back to basics and being part of a build. You'll partner with employees and cross-functional partners to keep the People function running smoothly while helping improve the way we work. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, getting things done, and finding better ways to support our employees every day.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) - New York City, NY or Los Angeles, CA

What You'll Do:
  • Execute day-to-day People Operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, benefits operations, leave administration, employee documentation, and compliance initiatives.
  • Help every StubHub employee get the support they need by providing timely guidance, building resources that enable self-service, and making it easier to access information.
  • Partner closely with the People team and cross-functional partners to execute key priorities, manage projects, and drive initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Assist with recurring People programs and cyclical initiatives, helping ensure timelines, communications, system updates, and execution stay on track.
  • Manage external vendors by coordinating implementations, supporting contracts and invoicing, and resolving operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate employee data by managing updates across People systems, auditing records, and adding to data governance.
  • Help evolve our People programs and operations by identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance the employee experience, and build more scalable ways of working.

What Success Looks Like:
  • Employees receive timely, thoughtful support and have a seamless experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Employees and cross-functional partners trust People Operations to deliver accurate, timely, and thoughtful support.
  • Core People Operations run efficiently, accurately, and with a high level of quality.
  • People programs and operational processes continuously improve and scale alongside the business.
  • Employee data is accurate, well maintained, and supported by strong operational governance.
  • The People team operates more efficiently because information is easier to find, self-service continues to grow, and manual work is reduced.
  • The People team has greater capacity to focus on driving business goals through our people because operational work is executed consistently and effectively.

What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar operational role.
  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, benefits operations, leave administration, compliance, and People systems.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience maintaining accurate employee data and supporting strong data governance across People systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams while exercising sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee and business information.
  • A resourceful and proactive approach, with strong ownership, follow-through, and the business curiosity to continuously improve how People Operations supports employees and the company.

What We Offer:
  • Accelerated Growth Environment: Immerse yourself in an environment designed for swift skill and knowledge enhancement, where you have the autonomy to lead experiments and tests on a massive scale.
  • Top Tier Compensation Package: Enjoy a rewarding compensation package that includes enticing stock incentives, aligning with our commitment to recognizing and valuing your contributions.
