The People Analytics Listening Analyst supports the Firm's People Analytics function by providing leaders and teams with timely, trustworthy, and responsible insights from our HR and People data. This position combines data analysis, research, visualization, and reporting to deliver meaningful insights across the employee lifecycle, including staffing, performance and productivity, internal mobility, retention, engagement, and skill development.

This role will play an especially active part in the Firm's employee listening program, helping design, administer, and analyze employee feedback, identify trends and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable insights for Firm leaders and program owners.

The analyst also helps build consistent, reliable metrics and analytical approaches for the global HR function, strengthening workforce decision-making and how we evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and investments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Conduct data analysis for HR colleagues and Firm leadership, building reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate findings
- Support the design, administration, and ongoing improvement of the Firm's employee listening program, including engagement, pulse, lifecycle, and ad hoc surveys, and other employee research using quantitative and qualitative methods such as focus groups, interviews, and other feedback channels
- Analyze and synthesize employee feedback to identify trends and patterns, and partner with leaders and HR colleagues to interpret results, identify priorities, and translate data into actionable insights and decisions
- Collaborate with HR Managers on workforce modeling, headcount planning, and talent pipeline analytics for specific practice groups and business functions
- Partner with HR project leads and Firm leadership to analyze the effectiveness and impact of global HR projects, programs, and policy changes
- Manage and continually improve the Firm's use of Qualtrics and Workday Peakon, including configuration, administration, reporting, and adoption of platform capabilities
- Support the design, maintenance, and adoption of Workday Reporting, including opportunities to standardize and scale workforce reporting
- Partner with HRIS and IT to keep HR and People data accurate, secure, and well-governed
- Stay current on People Analytics and employee listening practices, and bring forward ways to strengthen the Firm's analytical capabilities

Job Specifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least three years of progressive experience in HR analytics, employee research, or a related field; experience in a law firm or professional services organization preferred
- Knowledge of People Analytics concepts, tools, and frameworks
- Experience designing, administering, analyzing, or interpreting employee surveys or other organizational research strongly preferred
- Ability to frame workforce questions and apply appropriate quantitative and qualitative research methods to answer them
- Ability to synthesize data and feedback, and translate it into actionable insights and decisions
- Knowledge of HRIS, reporting, visualization, and survey platforms and their capabilities
- Comfortable using AI tools to work efficiently, with the technical curiosity to apply them to People Analytics products and experiences
- Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including comfort presenting to senior stakeholders
- Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across departments and levels
- Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information with judgment and discretion

Target Hiring Range $97,000 - $136,000

Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWS provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
