Volt is immediately hiring for CMM Programmers in Everett, Auburn, OR Puyallup
Our client is expanding their PC-DMIS programming team to support long-term customer needs throughout the Puget Sound area. We are seeking experienced CMM programmers who can work independently, solve complex inspection and programming problems, and serve as strong technical resources to our client and their customers. Customer software, systems, and measurement equipment will be provided.
As a CMM Programmer you will have experience with:
- PC-DMIS programming from scratch, including modification, debugging, and optimization of existing programs.
- Programming and troubleshooting Hexagon, or other CMM platforms running PC-DMIS.
- Large-format, bridge, gantry, dual-arm, or other advanced CMM configurations.
- CAD-based offline programming and model-based inspection using common engineering CAD formats.
- Advanced GD&T interpretation and application in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
- Probe qualification, probe and stylus configuration, scanning strategies, and measurement path optimization.
- Troubleshooting programming, machine-interface, alignment, probing, and measurement issues in a production environment.
- Working across different PC-DMIS versions and adapting or revising legacy programs.
- Analyzing measurement data and supporting complex dimensional inspection requirements.
- PC-DMIS scripting, automation, or advanced customization is a plus.
- Aerospace manufacturing, tooling, or other high-precision production experience is strongly preferred.
This is a
full-time. contract opportunity.
Pay Rate: $35-45/hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
