The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

What you'll do:

Position Overview:
The Payroll Senior Analyst team member focuses on driving continuous improvement within payroll operations by applying structured methodologies, leading process optimization initiatives, and implementing effective controls and monitoring. The Senior Analyst partners with subject matter experts to identify inefficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and track actions to deliver measurable outcomes. Additionally, the role supports key operational activities such as garnishments, union dues, overpayment tracking, and process documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across payroll operations using structured methodologies
• Facilitate process mapping (current state / future state) to identify inefficiencies, risks, and waste
• Partner with payroll SMEs to translate operational pain points into actionable improvement plans
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, or Pareto analysis
• Develop and implement compliance monitoring process for management reporting
• Coordinating the distribution of mail for payroll, including Garnishments and employment tax.
• Responsible for submitting all garnishments to third party provider for processing.
• Participate in monthly metrics reviews and operating review with third party garnishment provider.
• Responsible for the tracking and coordination of payroll overpayments, including monthly reporting to management.
• Documents processes into standard operating procedures.
• Support change management efforts
• Submission, tracking and reconciliation of union dues payments to AP.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience within payroll or finance.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Position Criteria:
• Use of excel, PowerPoint, lean tools.
• 10% travel required
