New Acquisitions and Special Projects Payroll Director
On-Site | Los Angeles, CA
$160,000 - $180,000 per year

What you'll do:

  • Lead complex projects: payroll system implementations (UKG, Workday, ADP, etc.), M&A due diligence, and post-acquisition integrations
  • Design and standardize payroll policies, procedures, and controls across multiple entities and states
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with federal, state, local, and union payroll requirements; manage audits and mitigate risk
  • Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies through automation and technology enhancements
  • Configure payroll tables (earnings, deductions, tax setups) and partner with HRIS/IT on time-tracking and data validation
  • Collaborate across HR, Finance, Legal, and Treasury to align payroll with business strategy
  • Develop global payroll metrics, KPIs, and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership
