$160,000 - $180,000 per yearWhat you'll do:- Lead complex projects: payroll system implementations (UKG, Workday, ADP, etc.), M&A due diligence, and post-acquisition integrations
- Design and standardize payroll policies, procedures, and controls across multiple entities and states
- Ensure rigorous compliance with federal, state, local, and union payroll requirements; manage audits and mitigate risk
- Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies through automation and technology enhancements
- Configure payroll tables (earnings, deductions, tax setups) and partner with HRIS/IT on time-tracking and data validation
- Collaborate across HR, Finance, Legal, and Treasury to align payroll with business strategy
- Develop global payroll metrics, KPIs, and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership
What you bring:- Must have: 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 2+ years in a senior managerial or project-focused role
- Must have: Deep expertise in enterprise payroll systems and advanced Excel for data analysis
- Must have: Strong knowledge of multi-state tax regulations, FLSA, and union payroll environments
- Must have: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver under tight deadlines
- Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Nice to have: Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or multi-entity MSO environments
