Introduction to the Team
*Spanish fluency is required.
*Travel is required approximately every other month.
This role is responsible for growing a segment of the account portfolio by directly managing customer relationships and contributing to the development of strategic partnerships. The individual analyzes business and operational performance to identify opportunities for optimization, supports service delivery for active accounts, and communicates technical and operational impacts as needed. They ensure the successful execution of account strategies and share best practices across teams and regions.
In This Role, You Will:
Customer and Account Management
• Build relationships with customer account teams, including key buyers and decision-makers.
• Assist in creating opportunities (e.g., progress meetings, fact-finding meetings, and exploratory discussions) to strengthen customer accounts.
• Understand and communicate customers' business challenges through appropriate organizational channels.
• Recommend products, services, and insights that address customer needs.
Business Acumen and Financial Knowledge
• Develop a strong understanding of how the department operates and contributes to the broader organization.
• Demonstrate awareness of policies, practices, market trends, and competitive information that impact the organization and its customers.
• Understand the financial impact of decisions and solutions on both the organization and its customers.
• Support the development of business cases for change under the guidance of more senior colleagues.
• Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of financial data and the company's standard contract terms and conditions through product literature, contracts, and collaboration with peers.
• Learn when to engage legal resources to modify or adjust standard contract terms.
• Develop an understanding of the contract negotiation process and contractual arrangements.
Negotiation and Decision-Making
• Communicate complex information effectively to build consensus among stakeholders.
• Address common objections confidently and proactively seek support from a manager when necessary to resolve differences and achieve alignment.
• Conduct straightforward cost-benefit and risk analyses of potential solutions, including the implications of not reaching an agreement.
• Identify and engage key stakeholders in decision-making processes and account strategies that benefit both the customer and the organization.
• Support successful deal closure and account growth initiatives.
Product and Solution Expertise
• Develop an understanding of the company's standard offerings and key areas of expertise.
• Build working knowledge of products, technologies, services, and solutions within the scope of responsibility.
• Gain familiarity with competitors' products and services.
• Apply knowledge of products, technologies, and offerings to effectively address customer needs.
Relationship Management and Customer Focus
• Demonstrate the importance of maintaining strong, ongoing business relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Build strategic relationships that support both portfolio objectives and broader organizational goals.
• Develop an understanding of customers' industries and competitive landscapes.
• Participate in customer meetings to better understand customer needs and expectations.
• Learn the metrics used to evaluate the performance of products, services, and solutions against customer requirements.
• Develop value proposition statements, case studies, and related materials that demonstrate the value of the company's products, services, and solutions.
Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; or
• Master's degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience; or
• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
Functional and Technical Skills
• Fluency in Spanish and English required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques and customer engagement practices.
• Experience with portfolio management, account relationship management, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships across diverse stakeholders.
The total cash range (inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target) for this position in Austin is $94,000.00 to $131,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $150,500.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Incentive plan performance above target will also earn more than the incentive target compensation amount.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
