Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Partner Enablement, the Lead Partner Enablement Manager, Sage Intacct Advisory (SIA) is responsible for developing and executing the enablement strategy for Sage Intacct Advisory and Client Advisory Services (CAS) partners across North America.
This role serves as the primary enablement leader supporting accounting firms, advisory practices, and Sage Intacct partners as they build, grow, and optimize their CAS offerings. The individual will drive partner readiness by developing skills, methodologies, and best practices that enable partners to transition from compliance-focused accounting services to high-value advisory engagements powered by Sage Intacct.
The Lead Partner Enablement Manager will collaborate closely with Partner Sales, Accountant Partner teams, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Learning Services to create a comprehensive enablement journey that supports partners from onboarding through practice maturity and market leadership.
As the Sage Intacct Advisory subject matter expert, this role will provide thought leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance on CAS/SIA practice development, finance transformation, business advisory services, and leveraging Sage Intacct to deliver greater value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
CAS Strategy & Practice Development
• Lead the partner enablement strategy for Sage Intacct Advisory and CAS-focused partners.
• Develop and maintain a scalable enablement framework supporting partners through the stages of CAS practice growth and maturity.
• Create programs that help accounting firms expand beyond traditional bookkeeping and compliance services into strategic advisory offerings.
• Partner with Accountant Sales and Partner Success teams to identify growth opportunities and capability gaps within CAS partner organizations.
Advisory Sales & Client Engagement Enablement
• Develop and deliver enablement programs that strengthen partners' ability to position and sell CAS and finance transformation services.
• Coach partner teams on discovery, business process assessment, value-based selling, executive conversations, and ROI-driven business cases.
• Enable partners to identify opportunities for recurring advisory services and increased client retention.
• Create best practices for conducting financial and operational assessments that lead to advisory engagements.
Sage Intacct Solution & Industry Readiness
• Enable partners to connect Sage Intacct capabilities with modern finance and accounting challenges.
• Support readiness around financial reporting, dashboards, KPI management, multi-entity operations, revenue recognition, budgeting, planning, and automation.
• Develop role-based learning paths for partner sales consultants, advisory consultants, and practice leaders.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product teams to translate Sage Intacct innovations into actionable partner guidance.
Coaching & Partner Performance
• Facilitate strategic coaching sessions for partner leaders focused on CAS practice growth, service expansion, client outcomes, and revenue acceleration.
• Monitor partner readiness, utilization, certification attainment, and advisory competency development.
• Identify performance trends and implement targeted coaching and enablement initiatives.
• Promote the adoption of advisory-led client engagement models and best practices across the partner ecosystem.
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Act as the primary enablement liaison for Sage Intacct Advisory initiatives.
• Partner across Sales, Accountant Programs, Product Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Learning Services to align partner readiness with strategic business priorities.
• Present recommendations, program outcomes, and business impact to senior leadership.
Required Experience
• 7+ years of experience in Partner Enablement, Accounting Advisory, Client Advisory Services (CAS), Finance Transformation, Consulting, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience working with Sage Intacct or similar cloud financial management solutions.
• Experience within a CPA firm, accounting advisory practice, finance transformation consultancy, or outsourced accounting organization.
• Strong understanding of Client Advisory Services (CAS) business models, advisory service delivery, and practice growth strategies.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, controllership functions, KPI management, and financial process improvement.
• Experience helping organizations improve finance operations through technology, automation, and process transformation.
• Ability to translate accounting and business challenges into solution-oriented advisory conversations.
• Experience developing learning programs, coaching frameworks, and enablement initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and partner executives.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive strategic initiatives in a matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
• Sage Intacct Certification and Accreditation.
• CPA designation or equivalent accounting background preferred.
• Experience leading or building a Client Advisory Services (CAS) practice.
• Experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, Finance Director, Advisory Consultant, or Finance Transformation Consultant.
• Experience supporting accounting firms, outsourced accounting providers, or business advisory organizations.
• Knowledge of modern CAS best practices, recurring revenue models, outsourced CFO services, and technology-enabled advisory delivery.
• Experience with Highspot, LMS platforms, CRM systems, learning analytics, and enablement technologies.
