Full Job Description
CLEAR's Legal team is seeking an experienced and talented paralegal to support a wide range of commercial, compliance and regulatory, corporate and securities, labor and employment, litigation and disputes, privacy, and product-related matters. This role will play a key part in supporting CLEAR's continued growth across its secure identity business, including its consumer aviation product (CLEAR+), B2B secure identity platform (CLEAR1), and TSA PreCheck enrollment service.

What you'll do:
  • Support the Legal team across a broad range of practice areas, including commercial contracting, compliance and regulatory, corporate governance, employment, litigation, privacy, and product counseling
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of agreements (e.g., vendor, customer, partnership, and data-related contracts) and help track obligations through the contract lifecycle
  • Partner cross-functionally with various internal teams to support business initiatives
  • Support securities and corporate governance activities, including subsidiary management, equity transactions and reporting, and coordination with CLEAR's transfer agent
  • Help coordinate litigation and dispute matters, including document collection, organization, subpoenas, and outside counsel engagement
  • Assist with compliance program administration, including policy management, trainings, and internal reporting processes
  • Support employment compliance efforts, including audits, tracking legal developments, and related documentation
  • Support privacy and product-related legal reviews by helping track issues, document decisions, and manage workflows related to launches and vendor reviews
  • Identify opportunities to improve and scale Legal team processes, systems, and workflows, and help implement those improvements

What you're great at:
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, evolving environment with broad exposure to different areas of law
  • Familiarity with legal workflows across one or more of the following areas: commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance, litigation, employment, or privacy
  • Clear, concise communication and the ability to work effectively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a willingness to take initiative and improve processes
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and a high level of integrity
  • Experience with legal systems and tools (e.g., contract lifecycle management, eBilling, document management) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and other standard business tools

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR's total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units.
